Group Programs
Building Blocks Psychology offers group psychology programs to support mental health and well-being. Our group programs aim to help individuals by providing a safe, supportive environment where participants can develop skills, whilst sharing experiences with others who may be facing similar challenges. Group programs can be a more accessible option for families due to the lowered cost. They can also help foster connection through peer support.

CCCK Parenting Program
Confident Carers Cooperative Kids (CCCK) is an 8 week program to support parents of children aged 3 - 12 years, who find themselves struggling with their child's challenging behaviours. The program is designed to empower parents through:
-
Understanding their child's behaviours
-
Tuning into their child's unique needs
-
Fine-tuning their responses to their child's behaviour
-
Using preventative strategies such as effective instructions, household rules and routines
It aims to foster positive behaviours and strengthen the parent-child relationship, to help parents navigate family life with ease.
Groups are run from 6:30 - 8:30pm on Tuesday evenings. We aim to match group participants based on their children's ages where possible. Parents / carers are expected to attend the full 8 weeks of the group. Children do not attend the group and childcare is not provided.
