Data Retention
If you become a client (engaging with us for psychological services such as therapy and/or assessment), your personal information will be stored in accordance with our clinical record-keeping obligations under Australian law (for a minimum of 7 years, or until a child reaches the age of 25) via our practice management software, Halaxy. If you do not become a client, we will only retain your contact form information as needed to manage your enquiry, after which it will be securely deleted.
Data Security
We are committed to protecting your personal information and take reasonable steps to protect/safeguard it from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised sharing, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, via measures we have in place. Information submitted through the website contact form is transmitted via secure connections (HTTPS) and stored on Wix servers, which are compliant with international data protection standards. Information submitted through the Halaxy intake form is stored securely on the Halaxy website servers, which adheres to Australian Privacy Principles (see Halaxy’s privacy policy for more information).
It is important to note, however, that no online system can guarantee complete and absolute security, particularly as technology continues to evolve. While we follow current best practices in data security, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. It is also important to remember that keeping your information/data secure is also your responsibility. Any personal data or information you submit to us – whether directly or automatically – is done at your own decision, and risk. We are not responsible or liable for any breaches resulting from the circumvention of the security systems and privacy measures on our Website.
